Kybix launches to build trusted global infrastructure for business identity and KYB

Kybix, the new AI-powered Know Your Business (KYB) information exchange platform backed by Euroclear and venture studio Liminal (fka Menyala), a venture studio founded by Temasek, has launched with the ambition of transforming how trusted business identity information is collected, shared and kept up to date.

Financial institutions face a growing challenge in understanding exactly who they are doing business with. Complex ownership structures, fragmented data and evolving regulation are increasing the amount of information they must collect, verify and maintain. And the burden does not stop at onboarding: existing customers must be repeatedly reviewed and recertified, creating significant volumes of ongoing KYB work.

Kybix addresses this challenge by building a trusted global network for business identity data sharing. Its secure platform brings together public and private data in one digital environment where business information can be requested, provided, approved, enriched, refreshed and securely reused across trusted relationships, reducing the manual work and fragmentation that still define many KYB processes.

Kybix is a Euroclear portfolio company backed by Liminal, a venture studio, combining startup agility with established financial infrastructure, market reach and access to Asian technology networks. Building on Euroclear’s GlobalWatch platform and existing network, Kybix is positioned to expand into a broader global market of financial institutions and multinational companies.

Kybix initially focuses on creating richer, more current digital business profiles. By combining information gathered through registries, APIs and AI-powered research with private information supplied directly by businesses, these profiles are housed within a secure exchange designed to meet regulatory requirements.

The company brings together secure information exchange, AI-powered questionnaires, third-party connectivity and decision support in one platform. Organisations can automate information requests, connect external sources and speed up analysis while maintaining permission-based access and human oversight. The result is less manual work, faster onboarding and a smoother customer experience.

Over time, Kybix will extend into monitoring and risk insight to support a move towards perpetual KYB: a shift from periodic checks to business information that stays current as companies and risk profiles change. As it expands its technology and market reach, Kybix will work with financial institutions and multinational companies to build infrastructure for securely reusing trusted business information across global financial services.

Kybix is led by CEO Ingo Ernst alongside an international executive team including COO Isabel Feliciano-Wendleken, Chief Client Officer Marie-Charlotte Henseval, CTO Marc des Garets and Product Director Grant Greenwood. Together, they bring deep experience across financial infrastructure, regtech, identity, product and high-security technology, combining regulated-market expertise with the technical capability to scale KYB infrastructure globally.

Speaking on the launch, Kybix CEO Ingo Ernst said:

“KYB has remained too fragmented and manual for too long. Financial institutions are being asked to understand their customers in greater detail and keep that information current throughout the relationship, but the infrastructure supporting that work has not kept pace.

“Kybix is building a trusted global network for business identity information, combining AI-powered technology with the established network and financial infrastructure expertise of Euroclear. Our ambition is to make trusted business information easier to maintain and securely reuse, creating the foundations for a shift from periodic reviews towards perpetual KYB.”

Edwin De Pauw, Head of Compliance and Public Affairs at Euroclear commented: “Kybix addresses a challenge felt across the industry: how to collect, verify and maintain business information more efficiently while meeting increasing regulatory expectations. Today, firms and their clients are often asked to provide the same information repeatedly through manual and fragmented processes. With Kybix, we have an opportunity to simplify how institutions exchange and maintain KYB information, helping improve compliance outcomes while delivering a faster and more seamless client experience. Stronger compliance and greater efficiency can go hand in hand.”
